What do you think about the CAHSEE?

The CAHSEE is a test required by the state for students to graduate from High School. The CAHSEE is based on two main subjects Math and English. If for any reason a student don’t pass both subjects with at least 350 points or more that student won’t be able to graduate from High School and won’t get their diploma. Without a diploma you won’t be able to go to college, you need a diploma to go to an University even if you have good grades.

Melonie Ramos ( junior) “It’s a waste of time because if we don’t pass the CAHSEE we won’t graduate even if we have good grades and high GPA.”
Silvia Perez (junior) “It’s good because it can tell how well you are doing and if there is something you are doing wrong in your classes.”
Ernesto Torres (senior) “If you don’t pass the CAHSEE why would you worry about your classes and getting good grades,you won’t graduate anyways.”
Rosa Basquez (sophomore) “At first I thought it was a good thing, but if you won’t graduate because you didn’t pass it’s petty lame for graduation requirements.”
