Teacher of The Month!!

This month I decided to do something different with the voting for teacher of the month. This month’s teacher was chosen by the class of 2013, our newest freshmen. I wanted to know who they thought has been a good teacher so far for them. So I went to all the 9th grade Pathways and asked them to vote. This month’s winner chosen by the 9th grade class of 2013 is…… Mr.French (Marine Science and Health teacher).

I interviewed Mr. French and I asked him the following questions…

How does it feel to be chosen “teacher of the month” by the freshmen?

“I feel very honored! What a great surprise to be recognized by my students. I think they should all win something”

What do you think makes you teacher of the month “material”?

“Hmm… I think respecting your students as individuals is very important and helps to make an environment where people are comfortable to learn. That, and my new haircut!”
