BOYS’ SOCCER: COBRAS DEFEAT FALCONS 2-0

    On Friday January 22, 2010 the MCLC Cobras boys’ soccer team played their home game at 6:15 against the Santee Falcons. The weather was cold but there wasn’t much rain as expected. The first half of the game was intense with the MCLC Cobras attacking the Falcons goalkeeper though they werent’ able to score and the first half ended up 0-0. When the seccond half started it began to rain but not for a long time. Ronald Ventura (ALC Senior) scored one of the two goals scored throughout the game within 15 minutes of beginnig the second half. About 5-10 minutes later Anibel Nava scored the second goal.  The Cobras continued to have scoring opportunities but weren’t able to score the third goal. The game ended with that score of 2-0; the Cobras were glad they won
 
The Cobras next game will be today, the 27th of January against the Maywood Academy Nighthawks(away game). Varsity will begin at 2:30 followed by JV at 4:00.

    i waz in the jv team for mc and they kicked me in the face lol.
