This past Wednesday Dec. 7, Mc’s Junior Varsity soccer team took on LA High. This was the last game before we go on our Christmas break so there was much tension trying to leave the field on good terms. LA High was first to score in the beginning of the first half. They kept trying to score but the main focus was keeping the ball away from the cobras  as they tried to score for the tie. “The whole team was disappointed when LA High scored but we knew we could pull  through and we didn’t give up,” said Kevin Maldonado. MC did catch up towards the end of the second half leaving the final score 1-1. The Cobras will be working hard these next few weeks to get back on track when they go up against Hollywood High once we return from break.
